Greg's Nostalgia Pics
/Special thanks to Greg Baxandall for contributing these historic photos of the legendary “Heavy Chevy” from his personal collection. A number of these pictures were taken at Van Isle Dragways, which was located in Mill Bay, BC. Greg was the owner and driver of the Heavy Chevy and was a member of the Posi-Tracs car club that was based out of Campbell River. We would like to give special mention to Rod Grice who was the original owner/builder of the Heavy Chevy before Greg.
"The Heavy Chevy" has been completely restored by its current owner Greg Love and can be seen cruising the streets of Campbell River
